The Cold War was closely last for half a century and it was a conflicts between the US and the Soviet Union and has economic,political and military causes.The economic causes was that US wanted a free trade from the world but the Soviet Union closes themselves off from the world and the international trade and benefit from its sources.Politically,the Gorbachev's policies(Glasnost) of openness which allows free speech from the Soviet Union.The military causes was considered as the military competition and espionage.The rival bloc was led by the Soviet Union known as the eastern bloc and the western side describes communist bloc or the totalitarian bloc.they had competition with each other about whom is more powerful amongst both of them.
