Call for Applications for 11 Scholarships available for Semester 2, 2021.
Who is eligible to apply?
Entry is open to all first year, full-time, local, private students who are enrolled in any undergraduate programme (from Certificate III to a Bachelor’s Degree) at any of FNU’s five Colleges or at the Fiji Maritime Academy in Semester 1, 2021 and are not on any form of scholarship or sponsorship.
To be considered, the applicant must have applied to the Student Bursary Scheme and met the following conditions:
- The applicant must have scored a minimum overall GPA of 2.67 (B- grade) in Semester 1, 2021 and successfully completed all the units.
- Applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate programme (Certificate III – Bachelor’s Degree) at any of FNU’s five Colleges or the Fiji Maritime Academy and have enrolled in Semester 2 as a full time student by 26th July, 2021.
- The applicant should not have any disciplinary cases.
- The applicant should have a combined family income of not more than $20, 000.00
- In case where more than 11 applicants meet the criteria, applications would be ranked according to the GPA and top 11 applicants would be awarded the scholarship.
Scholarship Value:
A total of $1,000 tuition assistance for Semester 2, 2021 will be given. Scholarship is available for one term only.

Applicants need to fill in all the details and attach the following supporting documents:
- Verified evidence of family income of no more than FJD $20, 000 per year. In any absence of evidence, a statutory declaration must be submitted.
- Applicants will need to email their complete set of applications to the Student Support Coordinator on ssc-vs@fnu.ac.fj
- Applications close on Friday, 7th August, 2021 at 4pm. Successful Applicants will be notified in writing or by telephone by 30th August, 2021.
