Dear Students,

We hope you are all keeping safe in your individual and family bubbles and following the medical advisories while taking a well-deserved semester break.

We would like to highlight the following important points:

  • Hostel fees - students will not be charged for occupying hostel accommodation during the semester break. Normal hostel charges will recommence from the start of Semester 2.
  • Semester 2 studies - The University is planning on the basis that all learning, teaching and assessment will be online for the whole of Semester 2. If a limited amount of face-to-face teaching becomes possible towards the end of Semester 2, in accordance with Government guidelines at the time, priority will be given to students who need to complete practical classes/assessments. Further information will be provided in due course.
  • Flexible fee payment - options are also available for new students who can apply and enter into a payment plan with agreed instalments at the beginning of their semester, trimester or quarterly mode of study. Students will be able to pay their fees through the duration of their studies and sit for their exams despite having outstanding fees, as long as the fees are paid by the end of this year. There are no extra charges for payment plan applications.

Below are the simple steps for students who wish to study with flexibility in fee payment;

  • Apply Now for Semester 2 studies at FNU. Visit our website www.fnu.ac.fj
  • Text 857 or Email: admission@fnu.ac.fj
  • Once enrolled, students can download the editable Form by visiting the FNU website on https://www.fnu.ac.fj/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/Payment_Plan_ Application.pdf
  • Once completed, send the form to the Finance Division on RevenueQueries@fnu.ac.fj

For any queries, you can also email the address listed above.

The welfare of our students remains the number one priority for FNU. To help combat COVID-19, please remember to wash your hands regularly and thoroughly, wear a face mask in public, maintain a 2-metre distance, follow advisories issued by the relevant authorities, and get vaccinated when you have the opportunity.
