Participants credited with competencies covered in this module are able to demonstrate knowledge of electrical symbols and terminology and will also learn how to prepare electrical specifications, floor plans, appliance schedules and material lists for electrical installations.
This module will assist the participant in conducting project planning for an electrical installation in a systematic way such that all tasks and resources are scheduled in order to determine project duration complete with costing estimates with regards to labour, materials and total project costs.They will also be able to prepare an electrical installation project plan; implement, manage, and monitor.The competencies encompassed in this module is equivalent to Level 5 of the National Qualifications for Electrical Fitter Mechanic.
