This course will provide practical experience to the students. Opportunity will be given to students to get experience in the area of Horticulture, agronomy, plant protection, crop improvement, supply chain management, agricultural marketing, crop extension and animal husbandry depending on the enrolled programme. The duration of this attachment will be for one quarter. As a result of successfully completing this unit students will be able to demonstrate an acceptable level of competence in adoption and application of sustainable agronomic farming practices, soil fertility management, insect and disease management, transfer of improved technologies in field, biodiversity, farm management, conservation practices, handling of farm produce for proper harvesting and storage by proper management practices.
