This Course is designed to provide students an insight into the ‘real world’ of hotel operations. Students' capacity to think will be developed through the analysis of the hotel industry and the subsequent development of tactics relevant to today’s dynamic hotel operation. It aims to promote professional awareness and expectations in the role of the worker in relation to the trade. This unit also helps the development of trade skills related to relevant industry trends and product quality standards. This unit aims to provide an opportunity for students to develop lifelong skills and knowledge on Food & Beverage services. It enables them to examine the role of Food & Beverage personnel in any Food & Beverage outlet.
