Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) is an essential component for health and well-being for all especially of women, adolescents and youth taking a life-cycle approach. It covers gender equality and women’s empowerment. Investment in SRH services, notably family planning, is one of the most cost-effective interventions for the achievement of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. However, the Pacific Island Countries and Territories (PICT) face many challenges related to SRH such as high fertility rates, maternal ill health, low family planning use, increasing teenage pregnancy rates and increasing STIs.
