This course will introduce students to an integration of pasture and rangeland management topics. These topics will be used to select, establish and maintain planted pastures, and conservation of the different types of planted pastures. Practical management activities such as rangeland inventory and prescribed burning of rangelands are reviewed. Areas of potential interaction between livestock and wildlife in rangelands are also discussed.
