This course is designed to provide students with in-depth knowledge to students about policy processes which will lead to change. They will get to understand that nurse’s work influences policy that impact quality of life and universal access to care. It will help them apply their knowledge in policy process and develop advocacy plans that would promote positive changes or actions especially at a time of rapid change in the health care arena. There is clear need of concise policies within the organizations to promote population health and health care.
