In this semesterised course, the PGD SRH students will synthesise and analyse SRH data management in all aspects of the SRH Program including the strategic SRH management cycle.
The students will also discuss the Graduate Attributes of the PGD SRH programme.
On successful completion of this course, students will be able to identify and demonstrate the understanding of SRH strategic and corporate planning linking to the SRH individual work plan of SRH service providers and the SRH program management. Students will also critique the Family Planning uptake modalities and the SRH commodity security; identify and distinguish SRH data collection from SRH data sources, collation and reporting; and calculate the SRH indicators.
The students will analyze the WHO Framework of Quality care in improved maternal health.
The course also includes the clinical attachment to the Oxfam wellness clinic, designated health centres and the Fiji Pharmaceutical Services to reinforce the required competencies.
