FNU announces the appointment of two new Pro-Vice Chancellors

Following an extensive and rigorous global recruitment process, FNU has appointed two new Pro-Vice Chancellors of international calibre to provide university-level leadership in learning and teaching, and research and innovation.

  • Dr. Lisa Harrison, will take up the position of Pro-Vice Chancellor (Learning & Teaching), in succession to Professor James Pounder. 
  • Professor Roland de Marco, will take up the position of Pro-Vice Chancellor (Research & Innovation), in succession to Professor Mohini Singh.

Commenting on the appointments, FNU Vice-Chancellor Professor Toby Wilkinson said, “These two senior appointments place the University in a strong position to achieve its ambitious goals under the new Strategic Plan. I believe the calibre and track-record of the two successful candidates are testament to the growing reputation of FNU, both regionally and globally.”

Dr. Harrison and Professor de Marco are expected to take up their appointments at FNU in September 2021. “The whole university looks forward to welcoming Lisa and Roland as members of the FNU family,” added Professor Wilkinson.
