Dear Students,

We know that some of you who enrolled at FNU in previous years have yet to complete your supplementary assessments. You are entitled to Supplementary Assessment (SA) if you have done a course for the first time and have received a grade of DNQ or a grade of D+ with an overall mark of 45 to 49. Normally, when students apply for supplementary assessments, they are given a 3-hour face-to-face exam called a Special Examination.  Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we are not able to offer these exams this year.

So that you can still complete your courses, the FNU Senate, through its Emergency Committee, met and made the following decision which applies to four Colleges (CMNHS students were offered SAs towards the end of 2020 and in early 2021):

CEST, CBHTS, CHE and CAFF will provide Supplementary Assessments and Special Examinations through alternative formats. These alternative formats will only apply in 2021 where FNU is not able to offer face-to-face classes and exams due to COVID-19 restrictions.

What this means to you?
This decision means that Colleges will not provide 3-hour face-to-face exams this year but will conduct assessments using a different format. Supplementary Assessments will still meet the necessary standards of quality and knowledge requirements to ensure course outcomes are met.

How can you apply?
Students entitled to Supplementary Assessment are advised to apply  at the earliest opportunity. Please apply by using the following link:
