This is unit intended for those specialising in biomedical engineering systems – with particular emphasis on the subject matter that will enable the students to learn the basic principles of different instruments/equipment used in the health care industry. The practical work done in this area will impart skills in the use, servicing and maintenance of this instruments/equipment.
