This unit will enable students to understand, develop knowledge and skills on post-harvest system and practices. Identify methods of harvesting, handlings, transportation, processing, storage and packing of various agricultural crops, vegetables, cereals, grains and fruits. Students as final requirement will do a field study on a local agricultural commodity (dalo, cassava and etc.) and submit report based on the present scenario in terms of its post-harvesting practices.
