Marine Electrical Knowledge is considered one of the core subjects for Marine Engineers. Student learn in depth, details about electricity and the machinery that is powered by electricity an operational level. The content of this course follows the recommendation and guide lines of IMO Model course 7.04 (Officer in Charge of an Engineering Watch) 2014 Edition.DME 458 is the first part of the ELECTRICAL course and is delivered at level 4 in line with requirements for the University Diploma. The course is designed for a student who wish to obtain the Diploma in Marine Engineering award by the Fiji National University (FNU) and or obtain the Class 3 Watchkeeper Certificate of Competency (COC) from the Maritime Safety Authority of Fiji (MSAF).
