Mechanism of nutrient uptake and nutrient transformation. Modern concepts for fertilizer evaluation. Soil fertility evaluation techniques. Soil test based fertilizer recommendation. Site specific nutrient management for precision agriculture. Monitoring physical, chemical and biological changes. Soil productivity under long-term intensive farming and effect of fertilizer use.
