threats to the natural environment, agricultural ecosystems and humans from introduced or invasive animals, plants
and diseases. In this course you will examine the risks associated with a range of pests, diseases and invasive species
through industry field trips and lab practicals. You will also examine ways to prevent threats, reduce risks and manage
outbreaks and pest organisms.
