This course is a semester long course designed to provide students with foundational knowledge in clinical dentistry to allow them to be proficient in supporting the dental team in delivery of dental services in diverse clinical settings. The course comprises of online lectures, videos, demonstrations, self-directed learning and workplace attachment. The contents of this course includes dental materials, cross infection control, preventive dentistry, medical emergencies, dental instruments, four and six-handed dentistry, instrument transfer and oral evacuation, dental radiography, speciality areas in dentistry, practice management and administration will be covered in this course.
