This course is designed to provide students with the basic knowledge of structure and functions of biomolecules that make life possible and a description of the key components of the cell with their biochemical interactions in the body. The students will learn about the processes that allow energy to be harvested, converted,stored and released to drive biochemical reactions within cells. This course provides the background for professional studies in medicine and pharmacy.
